Quickest card ever!

Well after 3 years away from my blog, I return with the quickest card I've ever made.  Normally I can spend a whole day working on something, but when it's half past 10 at night and I realise I need to make a card for the morning, needs must...

I had some watercolour card already from Craft Creations so I simply folded it in half and then trimmed it so that I could emboss all of the front of the card through my Cuttlebug.  I used the birds and swirls embossing folder and left the raw edge of the paper - just because I like it.

I've been working on some hand made felt (which you may see very soon!) and I've got a lot of trimmings, so I just cut out a small heart from my left overs.  To soften the edges and to hide the cut edge I just pulled at them with my fingers.  Finally I stuck the heart onto the front of the card with some Gem Glue from Hobbycraft and stuck a 3mm Swarovski crystal in the centre of the heart with the same glue and positioned it with my tweezers. Voila!  I was going for simple but stylish.

I've got a mountain of felt trimming, so I can see me making quite a few of these...
