Boy's paper bag book

It was my best friend's birthday last week, so I made a paper bag book for her. She always asks to look at my work whenever I see her and she's one of the few people to actually appreciate how much time and effort things take, so I thought I'd make a little present just for her. It's made up of photos of her little boy when they came to stay with us last year.

It's made from 3 brown paper bags.  I folded them, punched 3 holes about half an inch from the fold and then threaded ribbon through to bind them together.

I printed the title onto acetate and I used my favourite Basic Grey Papers to decorate and embellish it.

Her son's nickname is Cub (short for Jacob), so the tag in the pocket just has CUB heat embossed onto it and the text around the greeting says 'Are we going to be friends forever?' asked Piglet. 'Even longer' said Pooh.

Inside the bag openings I inserted 3 pull out photo pages.

She left a message on my answer phone while I was away to thank me. I'm over the moon! She said that it was the nicest present she'd ever received and that she cried when she saw it!
